Technical Skills

Python

• Pygame – Built a Space Invaders style game that focused on Object Oriented Programming

• Flask – Created a backend for a Flask website. Connected to a database where we added users

• Tkinter(GUI) – Learned the basics of GUIs

• Automation – Used Python to read a CSV with student IDs, convert them into a barcode, and email that barcode to each student.

• Hardware – Made a CircuitPython Piano, learned how to use play tone, and capacitive touch

Virtual Machines

• Ubuntu – Created a virtual Ubuntu computer. Allocated appropriate resources and can add sudo users. Can use basic terminal commands.

Web Development

• WordPress – Made a personal website on WordPress. Learned how to access the website, and make posts on the site
• HTML/CSS – Made templates with CSS for HTLM websites, Learned how to structure websites with both HTML, and CSS

MySQL

• Queries – Created databases with MySQL, learned about INT and STRING commands.

Summary

I am a Computer Programming Student in Erie High, studying computer programming, and web design. I’ve been in the program for 2 years. Overall, I am a hard worker, good listener, and if I missed something, I’m willing to ask for help. I’m here, and there, willing to learn new skills.
