I planned a lot for my WIP Site. I sketched out a rough draft of the “main menu” page I have yet to work on. I plan to have an image to attract attention to the button. When hovered over, the name of that character will fade in. I also worked on some of the inner contents of the site. I wasn’t able to remember my password so I couldn’t work on the actual website itself… but I’ll probably implement it over the weekend when I get home.
I started working on the site about a month or two before school started up because I was inspired by someone else’s character site. They used a non-code site, but when I tried to use the same site, I realized that I wouldn’t have enough space to do what I wanted to do without paying for an upgrade. Which I will absolutely not do. So, I decided to take advantage of my coding skills.
I found a site that would allow me to code it myself, however I wanted. I found Neocities(.org). As long as it’s under 1GB I can code for free. I’m including images but I’m trying to condense the code as much as possible to make more space for images. This is helping me learn how to use more functions and how to make my code smaller- and hopefully not as messy.
I fully 100% blame the crazy little beast in my brain for this 4+ year hyper fixation that drove me so insane that I NEEDED to make a project for this. I was foaming at the mouth to do something centered around these little brain bug pests I obsess over, and I’m certainly no artist. But I can code!
(This is suffering)
